Juan Diez Gonzalez

Juan Díez is currently the Head of Cybersecurity for strategic Healthcare, Food and Research sectors at INCIBE-CERT, the national CSIRT for essential services’ operators in SPAIN managed by the Spanish national Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE).
Juan has a Master Degree in Computer Science by University of León, and he is certified as PMP (PMI), CISA and CISM (ISACA), CISSP (ISC2), CEH (EC-Council), CSM (Scrum Alliance) and others.
He has more than 20 years of experience on IT projects, the last 17 years in the Information Security / Cybersecurity field.
He currently leads INCIBE-CERT’s specialization and provision of cybersecurity services for private operators in the strategic health, food and research sectors.
Previously Juan has promoted cybersecurity Programmes specifically on research and innovation activities at a national level. He also has managed the European projects management office at INCIBE to coordinate the participation on research and innovation projects. He has also participated in the ECSO association at European level, representing the Spanish Public Admin delegation.
